Task
Your task is to find a variety of sources that will help you study for the "You Be The Chemist Challenge". Start here http://www.chemed.org/programs/challenge/ and then find 5 different websites that will help you study for this competition.
Process
Once you have had the chance to familiarize yourself with this website http://www.chemed.org/programs/challenge/ you will need to find 5 websites that will help you get ready for the You Be The Chemist Challenge!
Website 1 - Chemical Equations - Find a website that will help you learn how to balance chemical equations
Website 2 - Acids and Bases - Find a website that explains what acids and bases are
Website 3 - Simulations - Find a website that has chemistry simulations
Website 4 - History - Find a website that gives an overview of the history of chemistry
Website 5 - Organic Chemistry - Find a website that reviews organic chemistry
Evaluation
Grading is as follows: For each website you must write down five questions and answers that can be found on that website. Questions can not be true/false. Questions can be short answer, multiple choice, essay and fill in the blank but must contain a variety of each type. Grading will be in our standard 1-4 grading system where a 1.0 is a "F" and a 4.0 is an "A"
Rubric:
20-25 questions containing a variety of types of questions and no true/false with accurate information - 4.0
20-25 questions containing a variety of types of questions and no true/false with mostly accurate information - 3.0
10-19 questions containing a variety of types of questions and no true/false with accurate information - 2.0
10-19 questions containing a variety of types of questions and no true/false with mostly accurate information - 1.5
Below 10 questions - 1.0
