Introduction
Today we are going to be learning about four kinds of bees and what makes them all different. Not all bees are the same, they are different shapes and sizes and have different eating habits and live in different places. The goal of today is not only collaborating with your classmates and teaching yourself, but be able to present to your classmates what you have learned.

Task
You are each going to be put into a group and assigned a different type of bee to study and gather information to present in front of your classmates. After you have spent time studying your bee, you will work by yourself and as a group to create a presentation to teach the rest of your class about your bee.
Process
1. You will be paired into four different groups and each group will be assigned a bee by your teacher.
2. Working together, each group will go to the website listed below and gather information about their bee. You will type up facts about your bee such as its habitat, diet, size, impact, and any other facts you would like to share with the class or seems important.

3. Then each group will create their bee's habitat on a poster board using markers, crayons, construction paper, etc.
4. Each student in each group will do their best drawing of the bee they were assigned and glue it onto their habitat poster board.
5. After the poster is done each group will teach the rest of their class about their bee.
Evaluation
The information taught in your presentation to the class will show how hard or little you worked on this project.
Conclusion
The purpose of this Webquest was to introduce you to not only teaching yourself, but also to teaching your peers. I hope you enjoyed this activity and had fun while learning about one of the many insects of the world.

This Webquest was designed to endorse the idea of children self learning and starting to discover things on their own. It is also a great activity that teaches collaboration and give every child a chance to add their own touch to the project.
