Point your toes! Straighten your legs! Dancers all around the state compete to be the best. Are you up for the challenge???

Florida is having a HUGE dance competition to see who is the best dancer; and who the best teacher is... You and 99 other great dancers compete to see who is the best in the state, and who is the worst. Will you lead your dance company to the finals? Will you win the entire completion? Or will you go home and never dance again?

The choice is yours. First, you must find a company to support you (make one up) and have a coach. Next, your job is too cheorgraph your own dance that will really wow the judges. Finally, write a letter on why you think you should win the big dance OR on dnace history.

You will work with your coach on this. When you are pickping a dance studio, ask these following questions to the owner and trainer:

1. How long have you been teaching?

2. What types of dance do you offer?

3. Have you sponsored anyone else, and is so, who?

Task 1:

Pick a studio and make sure your dance is very good. Your coach must be a good coach, you will be rewarded for choosing the best coaches and being the most creative.

Task 2:

Each dancer must write about why they want to be the winner OR about dance history. This will determine what place you will get in the competition.
