Introduction
The rainforest is very important to many different animals living in the rainforest. The rainforest is a place that is very dense, wet, and warm. The animals that live in the rainforest rely on the forest to be a place to call home. Also, the plants in the rainforest give off oxygen, which is good for the earth's environment.
Task
Your job will be to:
1. Read the information about the different animals in the rainforest.
2. Take as much time as you need to keep reading through the webquest.
3. Then you will be given a piece of paper, you need to write down 3 to 5 facts that you have learned from the webquest provided.
4. You may draw pictures for a more visual view beside of the facts, this is optional for the student.
Process
Step 1.
Begin to read the information below about the different animals in the rain forest.
1. The first picture is of a leopard in the rain forest, leopards are good climbers and swimmers. The rain forest leopars are found in countries such as India, China, and Asia.
2. The second picture is of a green rainforest snake, they survive by using their color to camouflage from other animals in the rain forest. They can support their weight from hanging from just their tale from a tree.
3. The third picture is of a tropical rainforest frog, the rain from the forest offers the moisture for the frogs to be able to survive. The frogs look to the trees as protection to hide from other predators in the rainforest.
4. The fourth picture is of a toucan, toucans live in flocks up to five to six birds. Toucans build their nests in tree hollows made from other animals.
5. The fifth picture is of a capuchin rainforest monkey, these are one of the smallest monkeys weighing 9 pounds. These monkeys live in large families with a dominant male.
Step 2.
Then write down 3 to 5 facts about the information you have learned about the different animals in the rainforest. (You may include pictures, this is optional)
Evaluation
The student will be graded on the information provided, and did the student actually read the content on the different animals. The more facts given the higher the grade would be, and if they provided more details. The evaluation is on mainly in the student gained knowledge from the content that they have read on the webquest.
Conclusion
You have now learned more about the different animals in the rainforest. You have learned facts on the five animals provided on the webquest.
