Introduction
Do you have a favorite fairy tale? Today we will be reading two fairy tales. You will compare and contrast these two fairy tales.
As you read these two stories, you will learn that they have the same theme, but characters are reversed; therefore:
Learning Target: Today as learners, we will orally compare and contrast two stories using a variety of adjectives.
Task
We have talked about similarities and differences. You will find three similaries and three differences between these two stories.
Process
Today you will read "The Real Story of Three Little Pigs" and "The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig." You will each read one story; the listener will determine three differences in the story and together, you will determine three similaties. Once you have identified those differences and similarities, you will record them in your graphic organizer.
