Introduction

Yes! You now have the opportunity to rewrite stories my Standard 5 students! You can jump into a story and change the plot of the story by changing the roles of the characters.

'I will Huff and I will Puff and I will blow your house down!" This is the famous phrase that has turned the wolf into the bad guy and the pigs into the innocent victims in the story " The ThreeLittle pigs"! How did everyone come to this conclusion? Conclusion

Great job writers! You are now able to analyse characters and change their roles in a given story! This activity will also help you to analyse people's characters and understand and become better judges of characters. It also gives you an opprtunityto look beyond the original storyline of stories and llok deeper into the role the author plays in helping you to figure out the importance of the characters and their personalities. Now whenever you read another story, think about the ways you can change the storyline by changing the roles of the characters.
