The focus of this webquest is to give students the opportunity to learn more about the world around them. Through this webquest they will learn the importance of food chains, what a food chain is, how a food chain is sustained, and a specific example of one food chain. Students will be given resources for their success and also the chance to work alongside their peers in a food chain project. Students, be prepared to learn and have some fun along the way!

Task

The Task

The end of this lesson will result in a group presentation and a written aspect in your science interactive notebook. Students will solve the mystery of what keeps a specific food chain sustainable by learning the important aspects of a food chain. Students will summarize the process of a food chain in their own words in their interactive notebooks. They will also work in a group to create a presentation on a specific food chain assigned to them.
