Introduction
Welcome
ARE YOU EXCITED TO LEARN THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW?

Well you're in luck, this webquest is to help you learn your colors! We will go through FUN activities to get to the end of the rainbow and find the
POT O' GOLD!
Task

The activity you are going to complete will be all about the 7 colors of the rainbow! Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink. You are going to draw a rainbow and fill in each stripe with two objects that are the color of that stripe. For example, in the red stripe of the rainbow you could draw a picture of an apple and a picture of another object that is red.

Process
Step 1: Get a piece of paper and make sure your table has every color crayon you are going to need. (Ex: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink)
This is a link to a video of the colors! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eI46AbAWzLw
Step 2: Draw the outline of a rainbow! Make sure you have enough space in each of the 7 sections to draw your two objects.
Step 3: Draw your pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow!
This is a link to what the rainbow should generally look like! http://www.clipartpanda.com/clipart_images/pot-of-gold-clipart-black-and-32035734 Note: The stripes on this are small so explain that they need to make them thicker.
Step 4: Draw two objects in each stripe! Remember that they have to be the color of that stripe. For example, you can not draw an orange cat in the blue stripe of your rainbow. But you can put the orange cat in the orange stripe and maybe put a blueberry in the blue stripe of your rainbow!
Step 5: Put your name on the back and raise your hand so I can come pick up your drawing!
Evaluation
This project will be evaulated based on the completion of the activity.
- Each student should have all the 7 colors on the paper.
- They should try to be as neat as possible while completing.
- There should be two objects in each stripe of the rainbow. Each object should match the color of the stripe or the project will not be considered complete.
- They will also be graded on whether their spcae is clean or not during thr activity and after. All supplies should be put away after every student is done.

This targets a kindergarten class. This helps to explain the colors in a fun and exciting way. There are many different videos you can find on the web that sing the colors. I used the purple and pink ones instead of the usual "ROY G BIV" because it would be easier to draw pictures with those two colors.
