Introduction
You will use online and print resources to research and create a personal totem based on Native American beliefs and meanings.
Task
Create a peronsal totem using Google Drawing and online resources. Research native American animal and bird meanings. You will be required to chose one animal to best represent yourself based upon your research.
Additionally, find and research other symbols that will add to your overall composition.
You must be able to identify the symbol, its meaning, and the tribe of origin.
Each totem project should contain one focal animal totem and at least 4 other symbols.
This research will influence your next 2 projects so consider wisely.
Process
Use internet resources to find a totem that representst you. Find additional symbols to add to your artwork. Write a short paragraph in Google Docs explaingin the meaning, tribe of origin, and personal connection to you.
