Introduction

What are those huge spheres of gas and rock? Planets! Planets are made up of rocks, minerals, and gasses. Earth is the only planet humans Know of that have life but mars has traces of water that means it might have once supported life. Most planets have satellites, or moons. Some planets also have rings made of ice, rock, and dust. There are thousands of planets maybe one other supports life. In the milky way there are 8 classified planets and many dwarf planets. The planets are mercury the closest to the sun, Venus, Earth our home, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

Task

 Compare and contrast the inner planets from the outer planets. Then draw a scale model of the solar system

We will evaluate this webquest by how you draw this picture. It needs to be drawn with a compass. You need to fit it on a piece of printer paper.
