| Sugar Free | he most extreme form of a sugar-free diet restricts all foods that contain added sugars as well as fruit and any vegetables that contain natural sugars such as peas, carrots and parsnips. The less extreme form of the diet permits fruit (but not juices) and vegetables and restricts all added sugars, honey and processed foods that contain sugars such as sugar-sweetened drinks, confectionery, sweet snacks, biscuits, cakes, pastries, ice cream and desserts, sweetened yoghurt, most breakfast cereals, sauces, soups and marinades |
Task
| How is each fad promoted/marketed | The Paleo diet is promotiedo though magazines books and online, the sugar free is promoted in the same way, and the Daniel plan in only promoted though books and online. |
| Explain why you think the promotion/marketing of these fads would be successful |
I think it would be a success because if it was on a magizine cover then woman looking at the magazines would spot it and would do it and also people trying to find a good book might see it and then try it out. |
| Explain why you think the promotion/marketing of these fads would be unsuccessful | I think it would unsuccessful because on the internet no one ever accidentally stumble across a diet unless they search for diets and if people do online shopping then they will never see the books or magazinens in the store because they might never leave their houst to go shopping. |
| Which of the 3 fads would you most likely try and why | I would try the Daniel plan because it is a Christian diet and it does not involve staving to get skinnier it helps you get closer to God and helps you get fit in the prosses |
| Which of the 3 fads would you least likely try and why | Sugar free because I can't help that I love sugar and sugar filled foods, I personally would never go for this one because it increases your chances of diobeties. Your body needs sugar to function properly, without sugar you would probably live a sad life without chocolate. |
| What are the negative side effects for each |
Paleo: Low-carb flu, ketogenic breath, cravings and hypothyroidis The Danial Plan: Bad headaches Sugar free:weight gain, diarrhoea and chronic disease. |
