Rhetorical Fallacies

Introduction

We have reviewed rhetorical fallacies.  A rhetorical fallacy is a false statement or a misleading statement. The four fallacies we reivewed are 

ad hominem - attack on character

stereotyping - making a too broad or general statement about a person or group of people

exaggeration -overstating something

categorical claim - putting things in the same category and making claims about them just because they are related
