The Life and Times of William Shakespeare

Introduction

William Shakespeare is one of the most famous playwrights in history. His plays have been performed and studied throughout the ages.

In the last four decades alone, American filmmakers have created popular films by drawing inspiration from Shakespeare's plays. Films such as 10 Things I Hate About You, The Lion King, A West Side Story, and Deliver Us From Eva all have Shakespeare's plays at their roots.
