Introduction

Can you help me find X?  

In your quest, you will define the vocabulary of expressions and learn to translate words into math sentences and math sentences into words.  

Task

You will use this webquest to understand more about algebraic expressions.  You are already family with numeric expressions or math sentences.  

Examples of numeric expressions:

2 + 3 = 5,  3 X 5 = 15,  62 + 1=37, 3(2+4)=24

Examples of algebraic expressions

2 + X = 5, 3x=15, 62 +x = 37, 3(x+4) =24

Process
