This Webquest allows you to explore and understand manufacturing process. The best part of this webquest is that you can demonsrate your creativity and ability to describe or explain how something is made.
Task
This is the perfect time to show your creativity! Together with a group of friends, make a short and simple video describing how something is made.

Process
You are going to work in a group of 3-4 students. To make the video, follow the following steps:
1. To find some ideas to make your video, watch videos on how things are made at

or at
http://www.sciencechannel.com/tv-shows/how-its-made/videos/
2. Choose a product and find out how it is made.
3. Decide on how you want your video to be.
4. Prepare the recording device. If you don't have a handycam, you can use your phone or your digital camera to make the video.
5. Make notes/draw a diagram of all of the steps of the process and the order in which they have to be done.
6. Write down the complete video script. Don't forget to use signposting language to indicate the order of the steps and passive structures to explain the process.
7. Have fun making your very own video!
