Introduction
World War I was an enourmous war that engulfed countries all across the world. Starting with the assasignation of Archduke Ferdinand nations joined to fight in one of the bloodiest wars in history. We have learned about many of the new weapons and fighting strategies being used during the war. Now we will be studying a few of the major battles from this time period.
Task
You will be researching the different battles using the sources found under the process tab. Each battle is unique in its own way. I want you to gain a general understanding as to what happened in each battle. I want you explain what is different about each, including:
1.What was the dates of the Battle
2.Where it was fought?
3.Who won the battle?
4.What was the purpose of the battle?
5.Include anything important about the battle such as the longest, bloodies, first, etc.
