Introduction
Your first grade class is about to take a tour of the world. Each student will research a country of interest and then convey the information to his or her classmates through a presentation. If you have photos or artifacts of your country, they can be used during the presentation. Have fun!
Task
Your task is to answer the following questions:
1. Can you find a map of your country?
2. Can you locate your country on a world map?
3. Can you find your country's flag?
4. Can you name a holiday that is celebrated in your country?
5. Is there a special game the children in your country like to play?
6. What is a favorite food?
7. Is there a special animal that lives in your country?
8. What languages are spoken in your country?
9. Do you have any photos or special items from this country to share with your classmates?
