Introduction

Have you ever heard "you are what you eat"? Well this phrase is a direct connection between food and health.  If you eat healthy you will most likely be healthy and if you eat unhealthy you will be unhealthy.  This webquest has been created for you, so that you can explore nutrition and how it affects your life.

Task

Your Chef has been diagnosed with obesity.  He has asked you to help him with better eating habits. 

*Your assignment is to prepare a healthy and tasty menu using the "My Plate" theory, including portion sizes and nutritional values.*

Conclusion

  Now that our journey about nutrition is coming to an end, I encourage you all to take your new found knowledge and use it in your day to day lives.  Choose healthy snacks and remember to exercise every day.  Of course, there is always more to learn, so I recommend you all continue to learn about nutrition; you could go grocery shopping with your family and help pick out healthy snacks, help cook healthy and well-balanced meals at home, and you can always learn more about what you put in your bodies by visiting other websites.
