Congratulations, Students! 

Since you all did such a fabulous job on researching Ms. Stephen's death in Sorry, Wrong Number, the State wants you to help inform others about the sugar crisis!

You have just been assigned as researchers and journalists for Ms. Thompson's magazine entitled Gettys' Healthy Eating Habits Explained (you are correct in thinking that it is a silly name for the magazine, and we will change it soon). You and a partner are going to work together in creating the best page in the magazine. Remember that you are creating a professional magazine that will be read by adults.

3. Write down your research question and bring it to me for approval.

5. Make sure that you cite every page that you use.

Evaluation

Each student will receive an individual grade. Here is how you will be graded: 

Student read and took notes on at least 3 different sources. 30 points 

Student used the Cornell style notes to conduct research. 10 points

Student included the citation for each source. 10 points

Student has at least 3 examples of textual evidence from each source. 30 points 

Student was on task and worked diligently throughout the research. 20 points. 

*Everything will be turned in to Ms. Thompson on Monday, January 25th after class.
