Introduction
STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
1. Identify how the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist are sacraments of initiation
2. Recognize that the sacraments of healing are Reconciliation and Anointing the Sick.
3. Describe how the sacraments of service, Marriage and Holy Orders, help us to fulfill our vocation.
4. Identify the special symbols of individual sacraments and relate their meaning.
5. Demonstrate how the sacraments are community celebrations that call us to share the love of God with others.
Task
You have been chosen to step into the Past to explore the Church’s Sacraments. As you begin your journey, please make sure you have all your equipment ready for travel back into time. You will need to work with a partner, and also you will need a Notebook to take notes.
Process
Read these two websites and take notes on the graphic organizer about each Sacrament.

Choose two Sacraments to focus on and learn more about. Go back and take more extensive notes on your two chosen Sacraments.
Prepare a Powerpoint presentation using information about each Sacrament. Using images and information, create a Powerpoint presentation for class viewing.
