Counseling Blog between Experts and Readers on "How to study effectively and what courses to take"

Introduction

There are various counseling blogs of various topics that are available from the web. One of the most helpful are psychology counseling blogs.

Task

Students are to be divided into two groups as Expert and Reader. Both groups will correspond with each other and have theirs letters/e-mails posted on a counseling blog.

Process

1. Students will be divided into two groups: Expert and Reader.

Reader:

a) Write a letter/e-mail to the Expert asking about how to improve your English.

b) Tell the Expert about your strengths and weaknesses, and what strategies you should use to improve your English.

c) Ask about what jobs you should consider in the future.

Expert:

a) Respond to the letter/e-mail by giving the appropriate advice.

b) Find out what type of intelligence does the Reader have by using the Intelligence Type chart.

c) Explain the potential jobs the Reader will be able to do best in the future.

2. Post the Reader and Expert letters/e-mails on the counseling blog.

Evaluation

Every meeting each pair must report their progress until the 6th meeting of the unit. On the 7th meeting each pair must do their presentation.

Rubric: 

Criteria 1 ( 30 points ) 2 ( 60 points ) 3 ( 100 pints )
Presentation Presentation is not clear and not organized. Presentation is clear and organized. Presentation is very clear and well orgaized.
Content Lack of information. Information is somewhat complete. Information is complete.

Conclusion

Students are able to evaluate their potentials and determine their future jobs.
