Future Type of Transport for My City!

Introduction

There are many types of transport that you can see on the roads of your city, public as well as private transport. However, what about in the future? Which one will people actually choose to be the best type of transport for your city in the future? Let's find out by doing this survey!

Task

The class will be divided into two teams.

Each team will make a survey to find out people's opinions about the best types of transport for the city in the future. One team will focus on doing a survey on future public transport while the other team will focus on future private transport.

The results of the survey done by each team will then be made into a colorful, interesting, and informative pie chart poster.

Using the pie chart poster, two students from each team creates a dialogue describing the results of the survey stating whether they have predicted the results or if they are actually surprised with them.

Process

Follow these steps to complete your task:

1.  Prepare these items for your pie chart poster:

  • White sheet of paper
  • coloured papers
  • Coloured markers
  • Glue

2.  Discuss with your group how you will distribute the task (who will download and print the materials,

     do the survey and create and perform the dialogue)

Evaluation

You will be evaluated in these areas:
