Help Save The Endangered Animals!

Introduction

Besides the orangutans, there are so many other endangered animals in Indonesia that don't get enough attention from us. Let's help them be known!

Task

In teams of three, you are to find an endangered animal that you would like to discuss by creating a colorful, interesting, and informative poster to draw attention to your endangered animal.

Before you can create the posters, you need to better understand the threats to the endangered animal like the problems, causes, potential solutions, and terrible effects to the world and humanity if this species were to die off and leave the world forever.

To do this, you first need to do general research on the endangered animal that you would like to help. As part of this process, you will have to make a profile on the animal and later present it with your completed poster to the class. The profile should include basic information about the animal, important facts and statistics about its status, and recommendations on effective ways to save the animal.

Process

Follow these steps to complete your task:

1.  Prepare these items for your poster:

  • White sheet of paper
  • Pictures or data of the endangered animal (downloaded from the internet)
  • Coloured markers
  • Glue

2.  Discuss with your group how you will distribute the task (who will be responsible to look for the

data, make the poster and do the presentation)
