School Pamphlet & Radio commercial

Introduction

Radio commercials have proven to be an effective way to promote something or reach consumers. Radio stations run these commercials in between segments or throughout broadcasting hour. A radio commercial usually lasts around 30 seconds where it usually contains a description of the product, its benefits, enticements, and contact information or location

.

Task

In Unit 3, you discussed the topic of School and Education. You learned about making descriptive sentences, offering opinions, agreeing and disagreeing. Your task for this unit is to show people why one school is better than the rest. This can be done by promoting the school through PAMPHLETS AND RADIO COMMERCIALS.

Create a pamphlet and a recording of a radio commercial

Your project is to create a pamphlet which describes and promotes a certain school. You will also need to make your own radio commercial to promote a school and record it.  Make your pamphlet and radio commercial as attention-grabbing as possible.

Process

Follow these steps to complete the project:

1. Work out the content of your pamphlet (Make sure it is short, concise and informative)

2. Design the layout and print out the pamphlet.

3. For your radio commercial, design your content and make sure it is a minimum of 20 seconds and a maximum of 30 seconds. Afterwards, record it together with your group and save it to a flash drive. You may add jingles and other sound effects. However, focus on the content of the commercial.

4. Present your pamphlet and radio commercial to the class
