The Five Senses

Introduction

There are five senses; sight, taste, hearing, smell, touch. We need our five senses everyday. This time, you will learn about all senses. You will be using various links, pictures, and videos to try new things. 

Task

You have 4 tasks to do:

1. You have to make a list of what you usually use with your senses.

2. Make a flip chart of all senses.

3. You have to try new things. For example,if you have never eaten popcorn, try to eat popcorn.

4. Write down what you feel/taste/see/smell/touch for the first time on your flip chart.

Process

Step 1: Your teacher will divide you into groups.

Step 2: Each member has a special job to do.

Step 3: Prepare everything for the flip chart (paper, scissors, marker, pictures, etc.)

Step 4:For all members in group, bring everything that you have never tasted, touched before from home.

Step 5:Taste/feel/smell/listen/see everything new for you.

Step 6: Write how it feels on your flip chart.

Step 7:Finally, every group has to present the flipchart and share all the new things for all groups.
