GO 5_ UNIT 3: ALBUM OF NAMES FROM ANCIENT GREECE

Introduction

How well do you know the history of ancient Greece? The Greek had hundreds of gods and goddess with their unique names. Which one is your favorite? 

Task

You and your friends are going to make an album of names from ancient Greece that we use today.

Process

Follow these steps to complete your project:

1. Prepare:

  • a piece of A4 paper for each member
  • colored pencils / markers
  • pictures from magazines or internet

2. Members of the group have to write the Greek name and tell what its stood for independently.

3. Draw a picture to illustrate your chosen Greek name

4. Work together to choose the best title and the cover illustration

5. Share your album page to the class. Tell why it's a good name to use today.

You will be evaluated by your teachers and friends in these areas:
