Introduction
For the Teacher
The following Webquest has been designed to develop student knowledge and understanding of 12 and 24-hour time systems.
The trajectory follows the 5E model of learning (Orgill and Thomas, 2007), along with Siemon, Beswick, Brady, Clark., Faragher, and Warren, (2011) approach to the teaching of time. Students will work through a progression of learning tasks with opportunities for collaborative learning and social interaction in the classroom. The learning trajectory has also taken into consideration the needs of Indigenous Australian students with specific ‘making links’ learning tasks incorporated into the unit when applicable.
