Introduction
This webquest is designed to add depth to understanding and provide a number of interactive assignments for students to complete in order to gain further comprehension regarding the organization of the SOLAR SYSTEM. This particular webquest will cover the following SOL for a fourth grade science class:
4.7) The student will investigate and understand the organization of the solar system. Key concepts include

-
b) the order of the planets in the solar system; and
-
c) the relative sizes of the planets.
Throughout this webquest, the students will be given multiple opportunities to digitally collaborate as a class as they investigate and understand the organization of the solar system.
Task
Watch the following video entitled: Exploring Our Solar System in order to gain some background knowledge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qd6nLM2QlWw
Review the order of the planets in our solar system:
Pick one planet to research and explore.
