Over the next 6 weeks, we will be taking a journey back to the 1830's as we read "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle" by Avi. Before you board your ship called The Seahawk and sail from Liverpool, England...you must first familiarize yourself with the lifestyles of this time period. Get ready for a journey full of excitement and suspense!

Summary: "The CHS Costumes & Textile Collection is among the largest in New England and documents the variety of clothing styles made and/or worn in Connecticut from the mid-1700s to the present.
