It is the year 1620. You are a pilgrim preparing to board the Mayflower Ship. Your family is ready to leave England in search of the New World. You do not know what to expect during the trip. You are scared, nervous, and excited. Traveling to America means you will have to begin a new life. Your bags are packed and you are carrying an empty journal (recording sheet). You can't wait to fill the pages with all of the exciting things that will happen during the voyage and when you arrive to your new home. Are you ready to face tough times ahead?

In this task you will read about the daily lives of the pilgrims and Wampanoag Indians. After you read each section tell what you learned about the two groups using the chart on your recording sheet.

Sign in to BookFlix using the school username and password. Then click on celebrations and click the 'go' tab under the pair of Thanksgiving books. Answer the questions in the table using the informational book "Thanksgiving."
