Introduction
As part of CELI's objective for our students to know more about United States Culture. They assigned a different state for every teacher. In fact we selected it in a raffle.
Our State is Augusta Maine.
AugustaCity in Maine
Augusta is the capital of the U.S. state of Maine and the county seat of Kennebec County. The city's population was 19,136 at the 2010 census, making it the third-smallest state capital and the eighth-largest city in Maine.
Task
Each of the student chose a topic such as: Note: Remember you would need to bring something in written too.
a) Gastronomy
b) Interesting People
c) Location
d) Different Places to visit
e) Culture
f) Dress, etc
Among others.
Process
It is a presentation.
Please feel free to talk about your topic and present supportive material to enrich the presentation.
Could be cardboards, figures, but all of you need to bring something to put in the mural and or window (DO NOT PUT IN ON THE WALL).
Note: even if this do not have rules, you must remember to enunciate properly, and to improve your pronunciation as we have practice.
Evaluation
Same aspects (Oral, Written and Material Support) we have evaluate in previous projects as per the CELI rubric. In addition the support material that you bring.
