WORLD CUP 2015

Introduction

Bienvenidos!!--Welcome

Today you will continue your journey toward a World Cup championship. The Bad Boston Beagles have been training all year for this and it is finally your turn to shine. You will have a series of obstacles though before you reach the final game. Each task will simulate a "play off game" which you must accomplish in order to advance to the next game. If you successfully advance through the first two games, you will have an all out battle for the World Cup title.

Task

The World Cup is going to be held in Mexico this year. Since we will be in another country we need to figure out how to navigate, speak, purchase and live in Mexico for as long as our journey takes. During this quest you will have to be able to

1. Locate specific places in and around Mexico.

2. Be familiar with Mexican culture

3. Know how to convert Dollars to pesos

4. Speak Spanish

In order to live in Mexico

throughout our World Cup journey these are essential tasks you need to be able to complete.

Process

Your tasks are ready! Each number represents a different game that must be won in order to make it to the next round. Screen shot all of your activites and take pictures of your work. Make a microsoft word document and attach all pictures as proof of completed tasks.

The destination of the trip is Mexico City. Each player of the team needs 700 dollars for Mexican pesos (at a rate of 16.76 pesos per $1 ). How many Mexican pesos will the team have as a whole? How many pesos will each palyer have individually if they convert $700? Don't forget** how many players are on a soccer team.

4. Lastly, you will complete a quizlet scatter in under 30 seconds. It is important that you are able to communicate while you are in Mexico. This quizlet includes the words we have been learning this semester. It should be a good test to see how well you can communicate.
