Introduction
Have you ever thought about what it would be like to have lived during the Civil War years? Leaders popping up everywhere and recruiting anyone to fight with them. In this webquest you will learn about one of several leaders that made an impact before, during, and after the Civil War. You will work with your group to research your leader and then create a presentation using the information you gather. Your group will be responsible for doing this presentation before the class.
Task
Task at hand:
Your group will research a leader that had na impact before, during, or after the Civil War. This information will be used to create a presentation that will be done in class by your group tomorrow. Please use the presentation rubric for guidance.
Process
Day 1:
After your group has signed up for a leader in class, you will begin researching. Use the links below to find resources on your selected leader. The information gathered will be use do to create a presentation. You may use resources listed below or credible online sites. Watch for Plagarism! Please remember to meet each criteira listed in the rubric to ensure you have all the research required for your presentation.

Day 2:
Your presentations should be complete. It is the big day. Please work as a group to decide if you need a spokes person or a tech controller for the presentation.
Today's Task: you will present your leader and observe others presenting their leader. While other groups present you will have a job to do. Each member will pick a separate job to complete during other groups presentation. Your group will rotate through these jobs with each presentation. Everyone should have a chance to do every job unless otherwise noted by the teacher.
