Ralph Waldo Emerson 

Born May 25,1803 In Boston Massachusetts. In 1821 he took over as director of his brothers school for girl's. Ralph wrote a poem "Good-Bye' in 1823. Then in 1832 he became Trancendentalist, leading to later essays "Self-Reliance",and "The American Scholoat." Ralph kept writing essays throught the 1870s. Soon to die on April 27th, 1882.
