Introduction
This webquest will help you to get ready for our field trip to see the lecture-demo provided by Garth Fagan Dance Company. Mr. Fagan didn't grow up in Rochester, but settled here as an adult. He is known around the world for his unique choreography. We are so fortunate that this creative artist decided to live and work here in Rochester, and that we'll get to see some of his work!
Task
Write a persuasive paragraph telling why you think Mr. Fagan deserves to be famous.
Process
You have choices of resources:
- two video clips which you can watch.
- a short biography of Mr. Fagan provided by the dance company.

In your paragraph, please tell which resource(s) you used. Then tell three reasons from your resource(s) why you think Mr. Fagan deserves to be famous.
You will read your paragraph to two classmates, who will give you feedback about your paragraph. Be sure to ask them if you stated your resource(s) and if you provided three strong reasons.
