Kindergarten Webquest: Our Five Senses

Introduction

This webquest is designed for a Kindergarten class.  It will help us learn and utilize our five senses.  In this webquest you will participate in group activities.

Task

Your parents have forgotten how to use their five senses.  We will learn about our five senses and how to use them in order to help your parents remember!  You will work in groups to review your five senses and create a book to teach your parents.

Process

First, we will investigate our five senses.  What do our hands, eyes, ears, mouth, and nose help us do?  Next, we will review the five senses that we have learned in our previous lesson.  We will do this in groups of 3-4 playing the game "Sid the Science Kid, I Sense".  You will find this at http://pbskids.org/sid/isense.html.  Then, in your groups, you will work together to each create a Five Senses book to help your parents.
