Digestive System

Introduction

Today we are going to learn about some more functions of your boday.  You are going to be a doctor in medical school trying to learn all about the digestive system.  You will be trying to learn this better than any other doctor in this class.  You are trying to answer the question what is the use of the digestive track.

Task

You are going to be a doctor studying for his test and presentation.  You will focus on several aspects of the digestive team. 

  • Find all the components of the digestive track.

  • Find the job of each of the parts.

  • Know where the parts are located.

  • Find out the part of digestion and what parts are used in each part.

Process

    • You will be divided in groups of 3.

    • Each of you will look up one of the jobs and the last job you will look up together.

    • Put all of your information together to make a presentation

    • Make a 10 to 15 slide powerpoint about what you have learned, dividing the slides it between all three.

    • Get one more visual besides powerpoint for the use of your presentation. (best visual is 3-D)

    Conclusion

    By the time you are done with this project all three of you should know the digestive system enough to be able to take a test should I decide to make you take one, so be prepared.
