Animal Cells

Introduction

Cells are the basic unit of life. An animal cell includes many different organelles. Cells and their components cannot be seen with the naked eye. You must use a microscope.

Task

For this webquest, you will research animal cells and their organelles.

Process

1. Work with your lab groups.

2. Draw each organelle on a notecard. Write the name of the organelle on the other side.

3. Record the function of each organelle on the picture side of the notecard.

4. In a venn diagram, record differences between plant and animal cells.
