Have you ever seen a person running, rolling, and playing with there dog happily in the park? Have you ever thought about wanting a puppy of your own? Well, before you persue the matter of getting your own you would need to know how to take care of it.....
Task
Jasmine is now in first grade and really likes animals. Jasmine asks her parents all the time to visit the pet store hoping she can convence them to buy her a puppy. Jasmine`s parents thinks shes really responsible with her own chores, but a puppy comes with a lot of responsibility. You must research five responsibilitites of taking care of a puppy to give Jasmine better understanding of how important owning a dog is.
Process
- You will be assigned to a team of 5 students.
- Before you begin, your team needs to choose a name for your new puppy.
- Each team member will then choose one of the five main responsibilites (grooming, food/water, wate maintance, excercise, obedience training)
- Each team member will then research the responsibility he/she chose. You can use the links that begin with "RESEARCH" at the bottom of the page to help with your research.
- Once all team members have finished their research, each member must share what he/she learned with the rest of the team.

- team must construct a persuasive presentation to the teacher "parent" trying to convince them that they are knowledgable and responsible enough to take care of a puppy.
