Project #1 Level 3 Object and Subject Pronouns. Possessive Adjectives

Introduction

The Purpose of Project #1 is for the student to apply the following:

Subject Pronoun:  a subject pronoun is a personal pronoun that is used as the subject of a verb. 

Example: I want a dog.

 

Object Pronoun: Is a personal pronoun. An object pronoun is not the subject of the sentence. It is usually the object that is affected in some way by the subject of the sentence. They come after the verb and prepositions.

Example: The dog bites me.

 

Possessive Adjectives: Possessive adjectives refer to words which modify a noun by showing a form of possession or a sense of belonging to a particular person or thing.

Example: My dog is very beautiful.

 

 

Task

Write a Paragraph about someone, or something or a place.  It is a free topic.

Process

On this paragraph you would need to apply the correct subject pronoun, the correct object pronoun and the Possessive Adjective.

There is no an exact number of lines but it NEEDS to be SUBSTANCIAL in order to proper grade the student.

You would need to bring the copy of the paragraph to me so i can review and besides that you would need to talk about what you wrote.

Evaluation

We will evaluate the Project in two areas:

Written  =  50%

Oral = 50%

Using the Rubrics from CELI.

Thoroughly completed the assignment

Was clear and easy to understand

Used complete sentences

Used structures correctly

Used vocab correctly

Used appropriate punctuation and capitalization

Oral Skills

Thoroughly completed the assignment

Meaning was clearly understood

Used structures correctly

Used vocab correctly

Spoke fluently (used few hesitations or long pauses)

Pronunciation was comprehensible

Conclusion

Student should be able to differentiate the subject, object pronouns when speaking and written.

This will help to have a better conversational skills and also grammar.
