Task
You are a Scientist who has just arrived from Jupiter. You come from a small population of Alien Beings who are being driven from their planet due to a drought.
They have been invited to resettle on Earth by The United Nations and have sent you to find out more about Earth, and the possible Natural Disasters they could face here.
You will need to report back to your home planet, your findings.
You will also make recommendations on how your species can stay safe on Earth.
*******************************************************************************************************************
You will use the links for your Disaster on the PROCESS Tab to find out what you need to know.
Part One
WALT compare and contrast information.
Choose two Disasters, for example, Earthquakes and Volcanic Eruptions, and complete a Venn Diagram to work out what is the same about them, and what is different. You can use the information contained on this Webquest, the information around our classroom and any of the books on the Context Book Table.
