Introduction
This WebQuest is designed to help you research a well-known New Zealand artist and how they have developed their artistic style.
You will:
- Partner up with 3 other people and each choose one of the four New Zealand artists
- Design a poster outlining the timeline of the artist's life
- Create a piece of artwork using simillar techniques to your chosen artist
- Report back to your group to show your research findings

Process
Things you could include in your research findings:
- The artists name, place of birth, date of birth
- Their education
- Time period of their artworks
- Style of art they mainly used
- Types of materials they worked with
- Who or what influenced their artworks
- Any fun facts about the artist
NOW, Create a poster presenting your findings. It could be made using PowerPoint or be a physical poster. Share your findings with your group.
Remember to cite your information.
Lastly, create a piece of artwork based on the same techniques and materials used by your chosen artist. Think about what kind of artwork is most popular by the artist. Do they mainly do self portraits? landscape paintings? or floral scenes? What kind of media is used? Do they use arcrylic paint? watercolours? oil paint?
