Task
By doing this project you will learn about the Adult Learner and some terminology and how to motivate an Adult Learner. You will use technology to accomplish this project. You will also learn what type of learner you are.
1. You will prepare a PowerPoint slide identifying the type of Adult Learner you are, and include in this slide a YouTube video or ClipArt to make it more visual and interesting.
2. You will prepare another PowerPoint slide of your own choosing on Adult Learners, and include in this slide a YouTube video or ClipArt to make it more visual and interesting.
3. You will reflect on your understanding of the concepts and information on Adult Learners. You will reflect on the term Andragogy.
Process
Step 1 The best way to get started on this amazing subject is to pair up. People who have used PowerPoint before are to pick a partner who is standing in the group with less experience.
Step 2 Spend 15 minutes exploring the PowerPoint presentation, especially, how to save your document, how to add pictures, and how to add video. YouTube is the only video that can be saved on PowerPoint.

Step 3 For images I suggest that you use googel images. When using these images always document the source. Some may be under an open license others may not. These images can be downloaded by adding the URL of the picture and select save. The picture will be downloaded to a file on your computer. When you are ready to add the picture find it on a saved file on your computer and lastly click insert. That is how easy it is.

Step 4 Proceed to your videos and watch them and look up any additional information on the Web that is about Adult Learners.
Step 5 The participant will use online resources and can explore other online resources of interest on Adult Learners.The participants should review all resources provided including additional resources.
Step 6 Prepare a draft of your project. Review the rubric again to be sure you have covered all areas of the rubric which you will be graded on. If satisfied with it, save and print it out.
Step 7 Hand in completed project to your instructor for grading.

Participants with scores from 74 - 50 will not receive a Certificate of Completion
Conclusion
SUMMARY
Teaching the Adult Learner is an important topic today as more adult learners are returning to school. There seems to be a fading of the traditional teaching techniques and more emphasis is being put on technologing in education. This webquest was created to show the characteristics of the Adult Learner and what needs to be incorporated into their lesson plan to keep their interest and keep them motivated to learn during their lifetime.The webquest has allowed them to work independently and in small groups with the use of technology to complete their project,
In summary for an Adult Learner:
- The material presented should have immediate usefulness to the learners
- The material presented should be relevant to adult learners' lives
- The training environment should be welcoming so that all learners feel safe to participate
- The training presentation should be engaging
- the training should be presented in a respectful manner, where learners have an opportunity to share their experiences.
