Task
This term we are working on Irish contemporary authors and their country.
So you will be asked to gather some information around different themes and share it with your mates.
Process
PAIR WORK : you wil be asked to work with a mate and expand the different assignments your English teacher will set for you.
First task : find a map of Ireland - both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (Ulster).
Second task: choose one of the following towns and prepare a 5-slide presentation with important sightseeing. Say if they are an author's birthplace.
Third task : find out about Irish myths and legends (leprechauns, banshees, elves, etc.). Max. 5 slides here as well.
Evaluation
you will be evaluated for the personal input to the team work.
Conclusion
At the end of this webquest you will know a little bit more about Ireland.
