It's a bird!  It's a plane!  It's.... Wacky Weatherman!  

"Good morning, boys and girls!  I have come to give you some info on several types of natural disasters.  The only problem is Disaster Dave took all of my weather disaster knowledge!  Now, I need YOU!  Please help me get my weather disaster knowledge back so that I can share it with others!

Your job is to research two different types of natural disasters.  Your teacher tells me that you have been studying hurricanes, so a hurricane must be one of your disasters.  You choose the other!  You may choose between floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, and wildfires.  You will use a task sheet to write down details of your disasters.  When your research is complete, you will create a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting your two disasters.  Good luck, and may the facts be with you!
