Integers

Do you know what an integer is?A integer can be positive or negative.You can find integers in a lot of places.Here are some examples: speed, tempature, sea level, weight, golf, etc. Did you know there is also history to integers? Well there is!In this webquest you will need to answer some history questions and creating a poster.

Here are some basic questions that I would like you to answer:

• In what century were integers finally accepted?
  

• Which cultures were the first to use negative integers and what contributions did they make?

• When was the word integer introduced?

• What does the word integer mean in Latin?

• What is the symbol for integers, where does it come from, and what does it mean? 

        *Note: You can also answer more questions if you want to get extra points.

 After I would like you to create a (with all the info) poster and present it to your class or your friend.I would like you guys to include maps, pictures, and etc.

2. You then need to take all the information and make a poster,with pictures and maps,etc. *Make sure it is very creative for more points*
