The family is one of the most important elements in society. Each family is very important to the continuation of the human race. A famiy is a group of people related through blood, marriage or adoption who may live under the same roof. There are several types of famiy living in society 

Task

Students will watch videos and name two types of family structure in society?

Students will outline two advantages of being a part of these family structure

Students will describe three disadvantages of being a part of each type of family structure you have identified

Students will suggest three ways in which members of the family can solve issues or conflicts among each other.

Students will give  justification for each suggestion.

Make notes about the other family structure shown in the video in the form of journal entries.

There are several types of family which includes- the Nucler family, Extended family, Single parent house hold, the joint/ reorganized/Blended family and the Sibling headed household. there are several advantages and disadvantages that comes with being a part of each type of family structure.
