Introduction
You have just opened a new business which organises day trips in Sydney. A family of four have hired you to plan a day trip to Taronga Zoo.
Task
In pairs you will need to create a business name and logo. You will then need to produce a detailed itinerary including times of the planned day trip to the zoo! Your itinerary will need to include travel by two different forms of public transport and at least one event or show at the zoo.
Process
1. Firstly name your business and design a logo. This will appear at the top of your itinerary.
2. Your family live in Newtown. You will need to organise travel by train or bus to Circular Quay to catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo.
3. Once at Circular Quay you will need to organise travel by ferry to the zoo. You will need to ensure your bus or train gets the family to Circular Quay on time to catch the ferry. You will also need to be aware of the zoo's opening hours.
4. Once at the zoo you may plan for the family to see what ever animals you like, however, you must timetable for them to attend at least one event or show at the zoo.
5. They will also need morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea timetabled into their day.
6. At the end of the day you will need to ensure they are able to travel home by ferry, bus or train. Make sure you check the timetable to ensure they don't miss the last ferry or train!
7. You will need to timetable the whole day. Please use 24hour time.
