Introduction
WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help his disciples as they continued God's work in the world. Catholics believe that God is present in the world through the action of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches and guides the Church in its mission on earth. As Catholics, we are called to do all that we do in the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit enables our relationship with God and with one another.
