Have you ever thought that Disney movies are just too perfect? That they capture a part of history, tell us the story, and it seems too good to be true? Maybe it is. You and your teammates are going to discover the real story behind Pocahontas!

Task
So what are you supposed to do?
You will be remaking Disney's Pocahontas!
In your group there will be a 1. Director 2. Camera Person 3. Female Actor 4. Male Actor
Don't be afraid to use similar scenes from the movie, if they are historically accurate!

Process

1. Make sure you are caught up on Pocahontas!
(Have a discussion with your teammates on the movie or any other information you know!)
2. Go through all of the different links.
(Director: Go through and watch the different clips. Camera person: http://totallyhistory.com/pocahontas/. Female actor: http://pocahontas.morenus.org/. Male actor: http://www.powhatan.org/pocc.html)
3. Discuss as a group, talk about what you learned.
4. Director- make a timeline while the group is discussing.
5. Have a discussion about what should be in your movie. If you will build from the movie at all or go from scratch.
6. Make a script!
7. Camera person- get a camera from the library. While they are doing that other team members get together any props you can make and start setting up!
8. Start filming!
9. Write an individual one page paper on what you learned about the real Pocahontas

Conclusion
Hopefully now everyone has learned more on the
